About the Role
The Assistant Teacher aids the Lead Teacher or Teacher in delivering daily lessons and managing the classroom. This position helps to support the development of children aged 1-5 by providing care, assisting in educational activities, and maintaining a nurturing environment. The Assistant Teacher collaborates with other staff and families to ensure the success of each child.
Qualifications:
-Experience in a similar role
-Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
-Assist in implementing daily lessons and activities that promote holistic development
-Support classroom management and discipline to create a positive learning environment
-Communicate with families and other staff to support the child's progress
-Maintain compliance with EEC standards and other relevant regulations
Requirements
EEC Teacher certification
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
